  1. Exhibit knowledge of history and languages of music developed through multiple experiences.

  2. Demonstrate educated listening skills.

  3. Demonstrate the ability to sight read and read notated music for grade levels 3 and 4 on a scale of 6.

  4. Evaluate music and music performances constructively.

  5. Demonstrate a good tone production and intonation through the proper breath control and embouchure development.

  6. Demonstrate ability to read and count advance rhythmic patterns and time signatures.

  7. Demonstrate an understanding of the full range of expressive notation.

  8. Demonstrate the necessary articulation skills, phrasing skills and musical techniques for grade level 3 and 4 music on a scale of 6.

  9. Perform on an instrument of choice with others in large ensemble experience.
