In order to ensure a consistent message, the District has decided to make the following timeline of Board proposals public. Should any member of the public have a question concerning the negotiation’s process, you are encouraged to reach out to the Board President or the Superintendent. While we appreciate your thoughts and commentary, please know that while we are actively negotiating, the Board may not provide commentary that would reveal confidential strategy. Should any bargaining unit member have a question concerning a proposal, the Board invites you to reach out to your Association’s Negotiation team as they are your exclusive representative in the bargaining process.  

Since February, the District and the Association have met approximately 6 times and the District has made 5 proposals. The Board and Association are scheduled to meet again on June 22, 2022 and are scheduling more dates in the future. The Board is willing and happy to continue negotiating as much as possible to reach an equitable and timely agreement. While this may seem like a slow process to some, progress continues to be made and the Board is willing and prepared to exchange proposals throughout the summer in order to reach an agreement.
