Students also have an opportunity to participate in a district wide contest to transform ordinary, discarded materials into extraordinary works of art, fashion, decor, or functional objects for a chance to win the GRAND PRIZE. Upcycling is all about reimagining the potential of items that would otherwise end up in landfills, giving them new life and purpose. This contest encourages students to think critically about waste, sustainability, and the power of creativity to make a positive impact on the planet.
